Whether you want to go to the blooming island Mainau or to Tyrol in Austria – the BOB keeps going to selected destinations near and far. In order to make you feel really comfortable during the trip, we will supply you with drinks and snacks from our on-board bar. Information on our special trains may be obtained in advance from the local press, from our BOB customer newsletter BOB Express and of course here on our homepage.
In last years we have visited for example:
Bamberg is a town with original and unique character and atmosphere. One thousand years of history are combined in a monument of urban development. In October 2005 the BOB has organised a trip into this town full of traditions.
Trippers have participated in a free of charge guided tour trough town and cathedral. A small brochure on Bamberg was handed over after registration for this day trip.
Seven hours of spare time have offered all kinds of opportunities to learn more about this worldwide recognised town. The world famous Kaethe Wohlfahrt Christmas Village and the play “Master Draught” that was performed in the ancient town hall were key attractions. www.rothenburg.de
Again seven hours of spare time were made available for our trippers that wished to participate in the 1300 years anniversary celebrations of Wuerzburg. The ancient fortress of Marienberg, the residence building or the Wine Village responded to the needs of mind and emotions.
