Qualitiy policy

The Bayerische Oberlandbahn GmbH is an independent, private sector company in open competition with other means of transport and ensuring the regional rail transport (SPNV) in the bavarian Oberland.

Our services are customer-oriented and we always try to improve our economic results. Our customers are the passengers, the orderer of the transport service, the cooperation partners and other railway companies, for which we undertake maintenance procedures.
In comparison with SPNV companies in Bavaria we aim for leadership. In the interest of our customers we feel up to cooperating with other companies on an equal basis and we only do ourselves what we can do better than others. Here we use the technical and organisational progress and at the same time we mind a respectful dealing with the environment.

  • Guaranty of a failure safe shunting operation of the connected railways for postprocessing and preparation of the train runs of the Bayerische Oberlandbahn GmbH respectively the provision of the railcars during planned and unplanned maintenance procedures

With our structure we would like to improve continuously the internal organisation, the material usage and the qualification of our employees.

 

BOB certified according to ISO 9001

In the beginning of July 2003, after intense preparations and many efforts, the BOB became certified with the Quality Certificate DIN EN 9001:2000. We cannow proof to operate an effective and functioning Quality Management System.

For our customers this means that all quality related measures relevant to the operation of the BOB are well organised, established and reproducible according to legislation. In case requirements are not met, the Quality Management System provides measures to identify deficiencies and correct them as soon as possible.

This certificate requires from us to constantly monitor and control our operation and to undergo external audits at least once a year.
